kdesktop-infinity README version 0.2.1 kdesktop-infinity is a kde implementation of the rotating background per time of day thing as included in fedora 8 gnome. See also: http://people.redhat.com/duffy/artwork/infinity-24/ http://ljuwaida.fedorapeople.org/Artwork/Infinity/KDE/Wallpaper We'll eventually package this up for proper distribution in fedora, but we'd first like some testing and feedback. To install, download kdesktop-infinity.tar.gz, unpack into /usr or ~/.kde download kdesktop-infinity-0.2.pl, install as /usr/bin/kdesktop-infinity (or somewhere else in your default path) Configure kde desktop for use: KControl -> Appearance & Themes -> Background click "Advanced Options" button check "Use the following program for drawing the background" select "Infinity" click OK (closing Advanced Options) click Apply kdesktop-infinity currently uses the 'convert' utility, so you need to have ImageMagick installed for proper function.
